Learn About New Creation Healing Center in Kingston, New Hampshire
Welcome To New Creation Healing Center
Canon Mark Pearson, Dr. Mary Pearson and the men and women associated with them in their work of Christian renewal and healing believe that God has called them to establish a special place for Christian healing and spiritual growth. We call it New Creation Healing Center.
We minister to body, mind and spirit
In all things, we work to help people come to a new awareness of the presence, power and love of Jesus Christ in their lives. We minister to body, mind and soul, recognizing that everything that makes up a person—physical, emotional and spiritual—works together to determine the health of the whole person. Everything is done within the framework of a Biblical, Christian worldview and with the understanding that each person is a unique and precious creation of God.
Our History
Located in southern New Hampshire and modeled after the healing homes found in England, the center exists as a Christian ministry striving to comfort and heal wounded, weary, sick and suffering people and to give refreshment and renewal to all who come seeking greater wholeness in their lives. The center also serves as a place of Christian teaching for clergy, medical students and church-based healing ministries.
Canon Mark Pearson, has long been involved in Christian healing ministry. He has been traveling around the United States leading healing missions in churches of various denominations and for such interdenominational ministries as the Order of St. Luke. In 1990 he wrote the book Christian Healing: A Practical and Comprehensive Guide. He later would go on to receive an earned doctorate in Christian Healing ministry from Boston University.
New Creation Healing Center was started in 1992 in response to a call from God for Mary Pearson, DO, to minister to the whole person: body, mind and spirit. She remembered how in the early days of the church Christians showed the love of Christ to the world by adopting abandoned babies and caring for the sick and wounded. It seemed to her that this model, rather than today's purported business model, was the model that God would have us use in our dealings with other people.
They have been blessed to see New Creation Healing Center grow by adding like-minded counselors, massage therapist, and a nurse practitioner - all whom love God and who desire to serve Him professionally as well as personally. We look forward to the day when we can offer these modalities on an inpatient basis as well as an ambulatory one.
We moved from Plaistow, NH to our current facility in Kingston, NH (just 3 miles north on Rt. 125) in December of 2008. This larger faclity allows us to better serve our clients and patients.
In December of 2014 a second building was added to the property. This building is called The Meeting House. Modeled after the traditional meeting houses of New England it serves many functions. It currently houses Trinity Church, with whom we co-host different events, like our healing services and Bible studies. It also serves as the space in which we host our workshops, lunch and learn and evening series. The Meeting House is also used for lecture space for The Gardens of New Creation and other community events.
Our Future and Vision
The vision God has given us is to add residential housing to the property. The residential housing will be used in many ways. It will be a place for participants to stay for workshops, retreats, and extended prayer ministry as well as for area churches to use for their retreats.
We look forward to the day when we can offer more to our patients, clients, area churches and the world.
