Memory Verse Challenge

Several staff members have decided that they want to learn and memorize more bible verses.  We thought a great way to do this would be by learning a verse for every letter of the alphabet.  We will be posting a new verse each week here on our website, in each exam room in the office and have take home cards for anyone who wants them in the waiting room.  I hope you will join us as we expand our knowledge of what the Lord has for each of us.

Week 1 - "All men may know of your mighty acts and
the glorious splendor of your kingdom."
                  ~Psalm 145:12 NIV

Week 2 - "Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."
                  ~Psalm 46:10 NIV

Week 3 - "Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
                 and your plans will succeed."
                 ~Proverbs 16:3 NIV

Week 4 - "Delight yourself in the Lord and
He will give you the desires of your heart."
                  ~Psalm 37:4

Week 5 - "Encourage each other and build each other up,
just as you are already doing."
                  ~Thessalonians 5:11NLT

Week 6 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and
only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life." ~ John 3:16

Week 7 - "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
                 ~Psalm 46:1

Week 8 - "He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters."
                 ~Psalm 23:2

Week 9 - "If you forgive me their sin against you,
your heavenly father will also forgive you."
                 ~Matthew 6:14 NIV

Week 10 - "Just as the father raises the dead and gives them life,
even so the Son gives life to whom he wishes."
                   ~Luke 5:21 NAS

Week 11 - "Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies."
                   ~John 14:14

Week 12 - "Love the Lord your God with all your mind and with all your strength."
                   ~Mark 12:30

Week 13 - "My command is this: love each other as I have loved you."
                    ~ John 15:15 NIV

Week 14 - "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."
                   ~Romans 15:13 KJV

Week 15 - "Open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from the
power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins
and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
                   ~Acts 26:18 NIV

Week 16 - "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against
                   the devil's schemes."  ~Ephesians 6:11

"If anyone who believes in Christ is a new creation.  The old is gone!  The new has come!  It is all from God.  He brought us back to himself through Christ's death on the cross.  And he has given us the task of bring others back to him through Christ.  God was bring the world back to himself through Christ.  He did not hold people's sins against them.  God has trusted us with the message that people may be brought back to him.  So we are Christ's official messengers.  It is as if God were making his appeal through us.  Here is what Christ wants us to beg you to do.  Come back to God!  Christ didn't have any sin.  But God made him become sin for us.  So we can be made right with God because of what Christ has done for us."
~2 Corinthians 5:17-21 New International Reader's Version
