Dr. Mary Pearson and Canon Mark Pearson invite you to some special
services of worship coming up just before Easter.
**Wednesday, March 31, 7:00 p.m. a service of "Tenebrae."
This is a beautiful service of candles, bible readings, and music.
Dr. Mary will be giving a brief homily. This non-denominational
service will be a great preparation for Easter for you. The good
folks of the Newton Junction Baptist Church, 18 West Main Street, Newton
Junction, are letting us have the service right there. From our
office turn right at the end of the driveway heading towards Plaistow.
At the lights, turn onto Newton
Junction Road (that's a left when you're coming out of the office),
and come ahead 1.3 miles.
**Maundy
Thursday, April 1, 12:15 p.m. "Maundy" Thursday
(called "Holy Thursday"
by some churches) is the day Jesus inaugurated the sacrament
of Holy Communion (also called "The Eucharist," "The
Lord's
Supper," "The Divine Liturgy," or "The
Mass.") Dr. Mary's husband, Canon Mark Pearson, will be
conducting a half hour service of Holy Communion in our chapel UPSTAIRS at
the healing center. Following this, the chapel will be open for
those wishing to stay and pray.
**Good
Friday, April 2, 6:30 p.m. You've noticed a cross as you
enter the driveway of the healing center. On Good Friday we'll have
a brief service at the cross. Note, if the weather is bad, most of
the service will be held inside our building.
**Easter Morning, April 4, 10:00 a.m. Looking for somewhere to go to
church on this special day? We'll be having a worship service at the
healing center on Easter morning.
